An aunt and her niece loved to explore nature and enjoy its many bounties. In their free time, they would talk about it with their family, and spread the joy of nature and many of its offerings to anyone who shared a similar interest. Through multiple gatherings, they stumbled upon the topic of a very specific, rather often overlooked miracle fruit, the pomegranate. Heavily used in the Middle East as a cooking ingredient and often consumed on its own, it was widely renowned for its health properties. Little did they know from the very moment that they discussed this, a seed had been planted, waiting for the right moment to burst towards the sun, an idea that set them on a journey to form the very produce that you see today.

Thus, we started our journey in 2001 by serving some of the best pomegranate juice you could find. Through significant success and failures, Kuma & Hachi started to flourish, allowing us to bring more of our best crafts to life: artisanal tea blends, honey bath salts, and so on.

It may sound funny that we would be motivated by a single fruit, but to us, it is a miracle elixir that could create wonders.
